About Me

My passion is working with people who feel stuck in hurt; those who are struggling to heal old wounds and move forward to live a life with hope and joy. I am also invested in helping people in transition; whether starting or ending a relationship, leaving a job or starting a new career, or learning to live without addiction. There is nothing more exciting and gratifying for me than to be in the presence of someone who is willing to work toward change. My goal as a therapist is to help you gain the tools to live the life you want.

I hold a master’s degree in Counseling from Portland State University, and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and also an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My training and background equips me to work with a variety of issues including depression/anxiety, grief & loss, adjustment to disability or chronic illness, domestic violence, trauma, and addiction. I am dedicated to life-long education and training.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (C4295) with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I adhere to the Code of Ethics established by the American Association of Counseling and the Oregon Board of Licensed Counselors and Therapists.
